Tyler Technologies is seeking a Software Development Intern for Summer 2027. The role provides a hands-on, real-world experience in a high-tech software company with guidance, team meetings, and work on live projects.

The intern will develop and modify software modules, test software, and document components while exploring languages such as SQL, VB/VB.NET, C++/C#, and ASP/ASP.NET as part of a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field in progress or expected.
• Languages to be familiar with include SQL, VB/VB.NET, C++/C#, ASP/ASP.NET.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a software development team on technical and business issues.
• Ability to conduct independent research and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or modify software modules to meet specifications.
• Assure software program integrity through review and testing.
• Prepare and/or modify program and system documentation.
• Research and incorporate new technologies into the software design.
