Job summary

Ferguson is offering a 10-week paid Summer Internship in sales, based in Chantilly, VA, with hands-on experience in a Ferguson branch. You will learn from experienced sales and operations teams, gaining exposure to customer relationships, product knowledge, and the sales process.

You’ll rotate through warehousing, inside/outside sales, and branch operations while building a network and developing leadership skills for potential full-time opportunities, including the Sales Trainee Program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field and rising junior or senior.
• Available to work 10 consecutive weeks during the summer (June 7, 2027 – August 13, 2027).
• Strong communication, curiosity, and teamwork; eagerness to learn by doing.

Responsibilities

• Build customer service, product knowledge, sales process, and relationship management skills through real work in a Ferguson branch.
• Work alongside experienced sales, operations, and branch leaders to understand how we serve customers and support each other as a team.
• Spend time in the warehouse, counter, inside sales, outside sales, and branch operations to see how every role contributes to the customer experience.
• Participate in leadership and sales development experiences that connect learning to Ferguson’s business, culture, and values.
• Contribute to a sales-focused project and present insights to leaders.
