High School Summer Intern (Research)

Research Institute – Summer 2025 – Must be High School Senior age 17 or older. Responsible for clinical or non‑clinical work performed under the supervision of qualified AC personnel.

Must be high school senior age 17 or older. A summer research intern gains valuable research and laboratory experience while assisting the research team with conducting an investigation, compiling information, and analyzing results for an organized research study. Research interns’ duties also include understanding the work processes and operation procedures, sharing strategies and recommendations on research methods, and maintaining the eagerness to learn. A research intern must have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to perform on daily research tasks.

Responsibilities

1. Performs procedures directly supervised by knowledgeable AC team members.


2. Performs clinical or non‑clinical work as appropriate for the department as needed.


3. Completes documentation of processes, tasks and programs as needed.


4. Provides responses to customer concerns as needed.


5. May provide assistance in an administrative, clerical or patient/customer support as needed.


6. Uses appropriate diagnostic and/or administrative equipment as needed.


7. Other duties as assigned.
