Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking undergraduates for the R&D Undergraduate Summer internship, onsite in Florida A&M during the Fall 2026 Internship Fair. The role involves collaboration on research projects, experimental design and analysis, and data modeling using Python, C++, and MATLAB. Eligible students must be enrolled full-time, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be able to work up to 40 hours per week.

U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance.

Qualifications

Must attend the Florida A&M Fall 2026 internship Fair.
Enrolled full-time in spring term prior or scheduled to graduate in spring.
Pursuing a science, engineering, or math major.
Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
Must be able to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance (U.S. citizenship).
Note: HS diploma replacement options apply for high school interns only.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on research projects.
Assist in the design, execution, and analysis of experiments.
Utilize computational tools and software for data analysis and modeling.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to team members and stakeholders.
