EJ seeks a Summer 2027 Project Engineering Intern at its East Jordan, Michigan facility. This role provides hands-on experience in environmental compliance and industrial system design, including dust collection and leak testing aspects.

You will participate in evaluating environmental conditions affecting personnel and equipment, reducing heat load, and improving building maintenance practices during the internship.

Competenze

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field from a four-year college or university.
• Ability to learn and apply environmental regulations related to fugitive emissions.
• Interest in design, testing, and maintenance activities related to industrial systems.

Mansioni

• Learn fugitive emissions environmental regulations.
• Design a dust collection hood for Bantox addition.
• Design insertion points for dust collector ultraviolet powder for leak tests.
• Understand how environmental conditions impact personnel and equipment performance.
• Identify a water filtration system to reduce fixture damage from sand.
• Reinforce infrastructure in the Melt department and contribute to building maintenance practices.
