Job summary

L&M is offering a Summer 2027 Internship in Washington state. This seasonal role provides hands-on experience in apples, pears, and cherries, with exposure across sales, production, and administrative tasks.

You will gain experience in order entry, customer service, accounts payable/receivable, and coordinating with growers and the sales team while supporting various locations during the growing season.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some college preferred.
• Fresh produce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience with the company’s apple, pear, and cherry commodities and their production, quality, inventory, and sales processes
• Participate in all phases of the sales cycle, including order entry, administrative and sales support, customer service, and back-office functions
• Work closely with the Sales team to assist with order entry, sales calls, customer support, and other sales-related activities
• Assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other administrative and accounting functions
• Support production and warehouse operations, including inventory management, product loading, shipping activities, and coordination with truck drivers
• Assist with grower relations, including providing support with the Grower Portal and printing product tags
• Gain exposure to quality control processes and the coordination of product from growers through production, warehousing, and shipment
• Supports company activities and operations at various locations during the growing season, including travel to partner, grower, customer, and other business-related locations
