Job summary

Baird’s Private Wealth Management internship in Edina, MN offers real-world experience and hands-on project work during the summer. You’ll work full-time (37.5–40 hours/week) Monday–Friday, start in June 2027, and gain exposure to financial advisors, client meetings and market research.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team, developing planning skills, research capabilities and professional relationships within a supportive intern program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field.
• Anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Interest in financial services and private wealth management.
• Strong verbal and written communication with clients and associates.
• Organizational excellence with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Motivation, proactivity and strategic thinking; willingness to learn.
• Prior office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support various projects from Financial Advisors (review reports, research).
• Prepare for client meetings and presentations.
• Assist with financial planning and market research.
• Handle admin tasks, calls and basic client questions.
• Contribute to branch marketing initiatives.
• Process paperwork and documents.
• Perform other duties and project support as needed.
