Job summary

Lockton Companies in St. Louis, Missouri, invites students to join our 10-week People Solutions internship.

Interns will be embedded in teams, support client service and benefits projects, and gain exposure to the insurance industry, Lockton tools, and consulting fundamentals. You will work alongside associates, receive coaching, and build both technical and soft skills through training, meetings, and hands-on assignments while contributing to real client work in a collaborative, inclusive

Qualifications

• Status as a currently enrolled student, scheduled to graduate Spring 2028 or Fall/Winter 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support team with an active book of business for a wide variety of clients
• Present to a client at a minimum of one meeting
• Participate in comprehensive training program to learn the fundamentals of employee benefits consulting
• Assist with various projects such as benefits renewal analysis and requests for proposals (RFPs)
• Support monthly client financial reporting and benchmarking exhibits that compare a client’s benefit offering against normative data
• Become familiar with contracts, communications materials, and company cost sharing strategies
