Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. offers a Summer Management Internship consisting of an accelerated 9-week program designed to prepare participants for the Dayton Freight Management Trainee Program upon degree completion.

Participants will gain knowledge of the Transportation industry and Dayton Freight's policies while supporting the Service Center and understanding each role’s function toward the company’s mission.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college.
• Basic math skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Willing to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts during the Program.

Responsibilities

• Gain useful knowledge about the Transportation industry and about Dayton Freight's policies, procedures and philosophies.
• Contribute to the success of the Service Center by learning and understanding each position's function and contribution to the overall mission of Dayton Freight.
