Job summary

BBYO Summer invites passionate Madrichim to work with teens at Lake Como, PA and Poyntelle, PA, helping them grow as leaders and engage in BBYO programs such as ILTC, International Kallah, and CLTC. The role emphasizes supervision, program design, and youth development, with a focus on safety, inclusivity, and meaningful experiences.

Positions offer stipends across multiple sessions and locations, with a structured daily routine, training commitments, and opportunities to lead activities,

Qualifications

• Attended BBYO CLTC/ILTC/International Kallah or equivalent program.
• At least one year post-participation in a BBYO program.
• Commit up to 10 hours per month March–June for training, planning and supervision.
• Complete mandatory trainings (virtual and onsite).
• Available for at least one seasonal session listed under About the Programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a role model for participants and translate BBYO experiences into learning opportunities.
• Manage bunklife and cabin responsibilities.
• Lead camp clean-up, organize spaces, and prepare for activities.
• Ensure teen safety and active participation in daily schedules.
• Plan and evaluate camp programs and leadership activities.
• Support evening programs and Shabbat electives as needed.
• Open, close, and transition days; assist with arrivals/departures.
