Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Landscape Architecture + Planning for Summer 2027 in New Haven, CT. You will assist in planning, design and permitting for diverse landscape architecture projects and collaborate across disciplines to support urban revitalization, streetscape, and campus design initiatives.

You will gain hands-on experience with design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator) and contribute to zoning analyses,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of landscape architecture and related projects.
• Support zoning, ordinance and permit assessments for feasibility analyses.
• Help prepare reports, plans, schedules and cost estimates for projects.
