Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Landscape Architecture students to join our San Jose, CA office for Summer 2027. This on-site internship offers hands-on exposure to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic production while learning multiple software tools.

You will support project teams, analyze deliverables, and gain familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company procedures. Hourly pay is provided for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Landscape Architecture degree (Bachelor's or Master's).
• Willingness to learn multiple design software tools.
• Strong collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic production.
• Assist with land planning, urban design, redevelopment, streetscapes, and public infrastructure.
• Learn and apply regulations and Kimley-Horn practices during project work.
