Job summary

Protective invites undergraduates and graduates to join its Summer Internship Program in Birmingham, AL. The 8‑week program runs May 31 through July 30, 2027, with a 40‑hour work week and an hourly pay of $22.

Interns will work on real projects, receive mentoring, and interact with business and tech leaders to develop solutions. Eligible students include rising juniors or seniors majoring in MIS, CS, Analytics, Cyber Security, or Data Science.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student as of May 31, 2027.
• Majors include MIS, CS, Business Analytics, Cyber Security, Data Science or similar.
• Rising junior or senior preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on a delivery team supporting real projects through the full software development lifecycle.
• Use AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and support engineering activities.
• Identify, design, and implement automation solutions for manual processes.
• Contribute to software quality through testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Participate in Agile team ceremonies and collaborate to meet requirements.
