Job summary

Manulife John Hancock's Investment Management Sales Desk Internship Program offers hands-on exposure to the distribution side of mutual funds and investment management. Interns work with Internal Sales Management and IBCs to understand sales strategies, client engagement, and business development in financial services.

Participants build financial literacy, develop sales acumen, and contribute to projects that enhance the Internal Sales Desk.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Interest in capital markets and sales within financial services.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and oral communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Internal Sales Management and IBCs with day-to-day responsibilities and projects.
• Conduct research, prepare reports, and maintain competitive intelligence to support sales strategies.
• Coordinate advisor events and CE reporting with internal teams.
• Participate in roundtable discussions and collaborative internships.
• Build financial literacy by engaging with investment professionals to understand products and markets.
