Job summary

Advantage Capital Agribusiness Partners, LC is seeking an Investment Analyst for a Summer 2027 start in Austin, TX; New Orleans, LA; or St. Louis, MO.

The role supports financial analysis and forecasting across sectors, with occasional travel to meet management and conduct due diligence. Responsibilities include building financial models, underwriting deals (debt and equity), preparing investment presentations, and assisting portfolio monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (or estimated graduation date spring/summer 2027).
• 0-1 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Financial analysis and modeling experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skill.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential equity and/or debt investments in operating companies with measurable impact.
• Meet with management and conduct on-site due diligence, with travel across the United States a few days per month.
• Work on deal teams during due diligence, underwriting, and closing of various transactions.
• Prepare financial models and investment presentations for internal committee approval.
• Support portfolio-company monitoring through quarterly reviews and board calls.
