Job summary

Tenaris invites passionate students to join the Summer Internship Program 2027 in Houston, TX. This 10‑week, project‑based experience places interns in Engineering and Industrial Operations, tackling real business improvements and cost reduction opportunities.

Interns work with seasoned professionals, gain hands-on exposure, and present final project recommendations to leadership. Preferred candidates are pursuing technical degrees and will graduate between December 2027 and May 2029.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental, Occupational Safety & Health, Computer Engineering/Data Science, or related technical disciplines.
• Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects focused on improving business and operational performance.
• Analyze data and identify opportunities for process optimization.
• Assist in developing standard procedures, reports, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project objectives.
• Participate in site visits, meetings, and professional development activities.
• Present project findings and recommendations at the conclusion of the internship.

DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS

Location: Houston, TX and surrounding areas such as Bay City and Conroe.
Duration: 10 Weeks (Summer 2027)

This is a pool posting for Tenaris' 2027 Summer Internship Program.

The Tenaris Summer Internship Program is an immersive, project-based experience designed to provide students with meaningful exposure to the manufacturing and energy industry. Interns are assigned a business-critical project that contributes to process improvements, operational efficiencies, standardization initiatives, and/or cost reduction opportunities within the organization.

Throughout the 10-week program, interns will work closely with experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience, build their professional network, and present their final project recommendations to company leadership.
