Job summary

Proxima, a Chicago-based procurement consultancy, invites ambitious students for an eight-week Summer Internship from June 7, 2027, to August 6, 2027. You will work with experienced consultants on client projects, building procurement and professional capabilities for success.

You’ll receive mentoring, hands-on training, and exposure to senior leaders, with the potential to be offered a full-time Associate Consultant role after graduation. Great culture and teamwork await.

Qualifications

• Rising university senior status required.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive a structured training program covering procurement knowledge and consultancy skills.
• Learn about the range of businesses we work for and procurement consultancy insights.
• Shadow and assist client teams to identify improvements and cost savings.
• Collaborate with interns on a client simulation and present recommendations to leaders.
• Build communication skills through storytelling and weekly sessions with feedback.
