Responsibilities

• Shipment Execution Support: coordinate with carriers from assignment to delivery, identify issues and help resolve them.
• Carrier Procurement: assist with sourcing carrier capacity and learn transportation pricing and procurement processes.
• Carrier Stratification: identify and onboard new carriers while maintaining accurate carrier information.
• Transportation Industry Knowledge: develop understanding of freight brokerage and market fundamentals.
• Professional Development: build communication, collaboration, problem‑solving, and team skills.

The Carrier Sales internship supports the daily execution of carrier sales operations while gaining first‑hand experience in the transportation industry. This role provides meaningful exposure to freight brokerage, carrier partnerships, and transportation operations, enabling interns to apply classroom knowledge in a professional environment while developing the operational, analytical, and professional skills needed to launch a successful career in transportation and logistics.

What You’ll Do

• Shipment Execution Support: Support assigned shipments from carrier assignment through delivery by coordinating with carriers, monitoring activity, and helping identify and resolve potential issues.
• Carrier Procurement: Assist with sourcing carrier capacity while gaining hands‑on experience with transportation pricing, market conditions, carrier selection, and the procurement process.
• Carrier Stratification: Help identify, qualify, and onboard new carriers while building professional relationships and maintaining accurate carrier information and documentation.
• Transportation Industry Knowledge: Develop a foundational understanding of freight brokerage, transportation terminology, market fundamentals, and how transportation supports the broader supply chain.
• Professional Development: Strengthen communication, collaboration, problem‑solving, and professional skills through hands‑on experience, coaching, training, and participation in a fast‑paced team environment.

• Compensation: $17/hr. and up to $1,000 performance bonus
• Duration: May 17, 2027 - August 13th, 2027
• Schedule: Full‑time (40 hours/ week)
