Job summary

Loyens & Loeff is recruiting Legal Summer Interns for the Summer Months of 2027 in Banking & Finance, Commercial & Tech, Corporate M&A, Direct/Indirect Tax and Employment. You are currently in the first year of a master’s degree or in your final Master’s year with intent to continue your studies.

The firm offers a one-month paid internship with a coach, competitive salary, and potential future employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• You are in your first year of a master’s degree or in your final Master’s year with intent to continue studies (e.g. ManaMa, postgraduate or LL.M.).
• You have perfect knowledge of Dutch or French, excellent English, and good passive knowledge of the other Belgian language (Dutch or French).
• Preferably able to present relevant extracurricular activities.
• Passionate about one of our expertise areas.
• You work proactively and are results-oriented.
• You are a team player and communicate easily with colleagues and clients.
• You can confidently work with modern AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot).

Are you the Summer Intern we are looking for?

• You are currently in your first year of a master’s degree, or in your final Master’s year provided that you intend to continue your studies (e.g. ManaMa, postgraduate degree or LL.M.), and you have an excellent academic track record;
• You have a perfect knowledge of Dutch or French, an excellent level of English and at least a good passive knowledge of the other Belgian language (Dutch or French);
• You are preferably able to present some relevant extracurricular activities;
• You are passionate about one of the expertise areas in our firm;
• You work proactively and you are results-oriented;
• You are a team player and you communicate easily and effectively with both your colleagues and clients;
• You can confidently work with modern AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to enhance your efficiency.
• You are available during at least 1 of the summer months of 2027.
