Job summary

A prominent think tank in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Summer Endowment Intern to assist in international trade research and programming. The intern will support senior leadership, track trade issues, and engage in various outreach programs. Opportunities for career mentoring and participation in events will be provided. Candidates must be undergraduates with an interest in trade policy and strong organizational skills. This position is temporary, lasting from June to August 2026, with compensation at $17.95/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and not yet have graduated at the time of the internship.
• Demonstrated interest in Asia and international trade policy/international relations.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Track and research development of current trade issues.
• Write, edit, and proofread research assignments and event summaries.
• Support implementation and planning of various programs.
