Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ability to complete a minimum 10-week internship, beginning no later than June 1.

Responsibilities

  • Assists Technical or IT teams with assigned projects, systems, and technology initiatives.
  • Supports analysis of systems, applications, data, or technical processes.
  • Helps develop, test, document, implement, or improve technology solutions.
  • Assists with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical support activities.
  • Supports data analysis, reporting, automation, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborates with technical teams and business partners to understand needs and develop solutions.
  • Helps identify opportunities to improve system performance, user experience, security, or efficiency.
  • Contributes to projects involving emerging technologies, digital tools, or technology enhancements.
  • Creates or updates technical documentation, reports, procedures, or other project materials.
  • Develops technical, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills through hands‑on experience.
  • Presents project work, findings, and recommendations to team members and leadership.
  • Takes ownership of assigned work, asks thoughtful questions, and actively seeks opportunities to learn and contribute.
  • Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, programming, databases, analytics tools, or other technical applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to collaborate effectively while also taking ownership of individual responsibilities
  • Interest in how technology can improve business performance and support the energy industry
