Job summary

Tru Vue Inc. is hiring summer interns for a 12-week program across Cincinnati, OH, Faribault, MN and Louisville, KY for Summer 2027. The internship offers hands‑on lab and production experience, mentorship from industry experts, and professional development.

Interns will work with engineering and production teams on real projects, spend time on the manufacturing floor, and participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives. Compensation is hourly with benefits typical of internships.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year engineering degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical fields.
• Sophomore to senior standing during the internship.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Interest in hands-on manufacturing and engineering work.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, production, maintenance and quality teams.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

We are hiring interns for Summer 2027!

Our team is hiring interns at our Cincinnati, OH, Faribault, MN and Louisville, KY locations for Summer 2027. These positions go from May-August (12-week program) and offer hands‑on project experience, professional development, and much more!

The Apogee Performance Surfaces segment generates $200M in revenue and EBITDA margins of 20-25%. Our brands in the Performance Surfaces portfolio develop and manufacture high‑performance coated materials for a variety of applications, including wall décor, museums, graphic design, architectural interiors, digital display, and industrial flooring markets. What You Can Expect

This internship provides hands‑on lab and production experience, mentorship from industry experts, and the opportunity to contribute to the next generation of products. Interns will work closely with engineering and production teams and spend significant time on the manufacturing floor.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at a four year college or university in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing at the time of the internship.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Interest in manufacturing and hands‑on engineering work.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineering, production, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and spending time on the production floor.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
