Your Role

Aptiv is seeking motivated and talented students to join our Internship Program. As an intern, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and gain hands-on experience by supporting real business and technical projects across various functions. This position is located in Walnut Creek, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to real projects that drive business results and create value for Aptiv.
• Gain hands-on experience by working on meaningful assignments rather than administrative tasks.
• Partner with experienced professionals and cross-functional teams on day-to-day business challenges.
• Support project planning, execution, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, industrial engineering and chemical engineering, or a related field. Must be available to intern in person at our Walnut Creek, CA office. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Nice to Have Leadership experience through student organizations, academic projects, or extracurricular activities. Interest in the automotive, mobility, technology, or manufacturing industries. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Compensation

This role is compensation range is between $4,200 to $ 5,500. Compensation is determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities of the applicant, and equity with other team members.
