Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township, PA is offering a paid full-time onsite Operational Excellence Intern for the summer (May–August 2027). You will support training content, learning programs, and digital solutions under the APX Supply Chain Operational Excellence Manager.

The role focuses on creating resources, deploying onboarding and mentoring initiatives, and driving process improvements. Eligible students should be pursuing relevant degrees and have completed sophomore year.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering (process or change management concentration), management, organizational leadership, or related degree
• Completed Sophomore year of college
• Develop instructional content, training materials, presentations, and communication resources for diverse audiences
• Proficient in business systems and reporting tools, including all of Microsoft 365 platforms

About the role:

As n Operational Excellence Intern, you will support programs that enhance employee capability, organizational effectiveness, and performance through the development of training content, learning programs, communication strategies, and digital solutions.

You will report to the APX Supply Chain Operational Excellence Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $23.00 to $26.30 per hour.
