Job summary

NextEra Energy invites a Summer Intern – General to gain exposure across business activities and support projects as needed. You may assist in operations, communications, PM, HR, legal, or other corporate functions.

You’ll develop professional skills, work with experienced colleagues, and contribute to initiatives that support the business while presenting findings to leadership when applicable.

Qualifications

• Maintain active enrollment in a bachelor’s degree or higher degree program.
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Ability to complete a minimum 10-week internship, beginning no later than June 1.

As a General Intern, you’ll gain exposure to a variety of business activities and support projects based on the needs of your assigned team. This posting is intended to provide flexibility for internship opportunities that do not fit within a specific functional discipline.

Depending on your team and assignment, you may support areas such as business operations, communications, project management, human resources, legal, environmental, strategy, administration, or other corporate and business functions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
