Independence Blue Cross (IBX) is seeking a Summer Intern for Enterprise Growth & Strategy to support identification of growth opportunities, advance strategic initiatives, and improve execution across key business priorities. The role provides exposure to strategic projects and cross‑functional collaboration while developing a broad understanding of the business.

You will conduct market and competitor research, analyze data, and help leadership make informed, data‑driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to conduct research and gather relevant information from a variety of sources.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into meaningful insights.
• Proven problem‑solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

The Enterprise Strategy & Growth team helps shape the organization’s long-term direction by identifying growth opportunities, evaluating market trends, and driving strategic priorities across the business. The department brings together expertise in corporate strategy, corporate development, market intelligence, portfolio management, strategic capabilities, and continuous improvement to support informed decision‑making and sustainable growth. Interns will gain exposure to strategic projects and cross‑functional collaboration while developing a broad understanding of the business.

Job Description:

• Pursuing a degree in Business Strategy, Project/Program Management, Business/Corporate Development, and/or Healthcare
• Current Junior, Senior, or Recent grad up to one year

GPA Requirement:

3.5+ or higher

Program Completion Date: August 6, 2027

Work Hours

Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (37.5 hours per week)
