Job summary

Allianz Technology of America invites qualified students to join its summer collegiate intern program. You will work in software development, IT security, production support, project delivery, and project management, gaining hands-on experience with real projects across a global IT enterprise.

Job description

Allianz Technology of America (ATA) is part of the global financial powerhouse Allianz, with over 120,000 employees worldwide. ATA is hiring for the summer 2027 collegiate intern program. As an ATA intern, you will experience diverse hands-on projects and real-time training in areas such as Software Development, IT Security, Production Support, Project Delivery, and Project Management.

Applicants can pursue either technical (computer science-related) or analytical internships (business, communications, consulting, finance, risk management, liberal arts). During your internship, you will gain exposure to the IT function, key business partners, and company leaders. The intern program often leads to our new graduate program - TechSTART, a 1-year rotational full-time position with salary and benefits with the goal of permanent position placement.

What you do

As an ATA Intern, you will build and hone the ability to:

• Work in a position that is integrated into established teams within Allianz Technology of America
• Gain exposure to products, skills, and technologies used across a global IT enterprise
• Work with project teams and business stakeholders to identify requirements
• Leverage AI to develop solutions to technology needs
• Collaborate with other interns throughout the summer to build a solution for an essential business need and present the results to ATA executive leadership
• Engage in the Allianz Technology community, resource groups, and networking events with leadership

What you bring

• Currently enrolled in an accredited four-year degree program (Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related strongly encouraged)
• Prior internship or work-study experience preferred (preference given to rising juniors and seniors)

We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working.

The hourly pay for this role is $23/hour.
