Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician Intern for the summer to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of instrumentation and electrical systems in our midstream operations.

The intern will assist with installing equipment, testing safety interlocks, SCADA/DCS/PLC systems, OT networks, and preparing reports. Pursuing a relevant technical certificate or degree; must be 18+ and safety-minded; outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant certificate or degree.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, operation, and maintenance of instrumentation such as transmitters and gas detectors.
• Maintain safety interlock systems and SCADA/DCS/PLC support tasks.
• Support maintenance and operation of OT networks and electrical power systems.
• Prepare maintenance records, reports, and drawings.
• Participate in DOT-related and pipeline responsibilities as needed.
