Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA, is seeking a Summer 2027 IEF - SE&I / Human Factors Collegiate Intern. You will contribute to a world-class team applying human-centered design, perform trade studies, assist in part task simulations, and work with data analysis in a structured environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience within aviation HF, including collaboration with engineers to support design, validation, and regulatory guidance, with rotations based on class

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s or higher program.
• GPA 3.0+ required (unrounded).
• Rotation requirements: Juniors 2 rotations; Seniors/Grad 1 rotation.
• Must be onsite; not remote; reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform trade studies on system design concepts and present HF recommendations to cross-functional teams.
• Assist in the design of part task simulations and predictive modeling tools.
• Collaborate with a HF Engineer to apply anthropometric modeling for concept analysis.
• Apply descriptive or inferential statistics to data analyses.
• Contribute to preparation and execution of evaluation plans using measurement techniques.
• Document evaluations in final engineering reports and project documents.
• Assist with validation and verification of requirements.
• Follow industry and regulatory design guidance to support design aspects.
