Job summary

Leerink Partners offers a ten-week Equity Research Summer Intern Program in New York. You will assist a world-class Healthcare Research team by collecting, evaluating and presenting data, building models, and supporting day-to-day equity analysis.

The program targets penultimate-year undergrads and offers exposure to the workflow of full-time analysts with potential conversion to July 2028. Compensation is $110,000 pro-rated for the summer, reflecting market norms for internships in NYC.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in their junior year (Class of 2028).
• Possible conversion to full-time role in July 2028 after internship.
• Some healthcare exposure preferred.
• Interest in the stock market and Healthcare equity investment research.
• Experience building pro forma financial models including forecasting revenue, income statement, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Ability to synthesize data and articulate findings through strong written and oral presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, evaluate and apply statistical and financial data on the economy and financial markets, focusing on healthcare stocks.
• Analyze and synthesize researched data and present trends and ideas for investment decisions.
• Observe interviews with company executives and industry leaders to develop sources of information for analyses.
• Maintain company databases using spreadsheet and database software.
• Prepare reports, opinions, recommendations, and statistical data for investment policy formulation.
