Job summary

GuideStone Financial Resources invites applications for a Summer Intern - Software Developer. This program trains you as a full-stack developer within the Software Development team, using Microsoft tech and Azure deployments. You will work on real projects, under Scrum, practicing C#, Razor, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MVC/WebForms, SQL, and Git while learning CI/CD with Azure Pipelines.

A collaborative setting and Markdown documentation are emphasized. Permanent U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. work authorization (permanent).
• Current student in Computer Science or MIS.
• Senior year preferred; graduation by Aug/Dec 2027.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Completed at least one programming course or multiple projects.
• Strong culture fit and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Train as a full-stack developer with a blend of videos, reading, coding exercises and an initial project.
• Work on projects pulled from Scrum backlogs and contribute to web apps.
• Develop using Microsoft tools and Azure for deployment and CI/CD.
• Follow language-specific standards and write automated tests.
• Document learnings in Markdown and report progress to the manager.
