Job summary

Evonik’s Summer Professional Enrichment (SPE) Program is a 12 week internship that gives undergraduates real-world experience in North America. Interns work on meaningful projects across manufacturing/operations and EH&S, collaborating with a regional team to deliver tangible results.

During the program, you’ll relocate as needed, apply classroom knowledge to live assignments, and network with professionals and Evonik leaders. The experience prepares you for early-career opportunities at Evonik.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry.
• Willingness to relocate anywhere in the US.
• Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Program Dates: May 17–August 6, 2027.
• Program Pay: $21.00–$27.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Work on cross-functional teams for a regional group project.
• Apply skills learned in school to real-world projects in manufacturing/operations or EH&S.
• Assist with startup activities, process updates, and drawing reviews.
