Job summary

Wabtec offers a 10-week Summer Internship Program for current college students pursuing Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering and related degrees. Interns gain real project experience across locomotive and transit propulsion systems, with opportunities for full-time roles after graduation.

You will work at multiple US sites, earn hourly pay from $19 to $33, and participate in professional, training and social activities to build a strong network.

Qualifications

• Strong initiative and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and willingness to learn technically in engineering roles.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to commit to 10–12 week internship and work at multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Work on real business projects within Wabtec's Summer Internship Program.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across design, analytics, testing and software.
• Develop technical skills in engineering disciplines and gain exposure to leadership programs.
