Job summary

Harmon is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern for the summer to gain hands-on experience in the design and engineering of exterior curtain wall systems. You will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects across North America.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, performing calculations, and assisting with CAD-enabled design tasks using AutoCAD and 3D AutoCAD, while learning Harmon processes and products.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Engineering or related field.
• Junior or Senior standing preferred.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred; AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support design and engineering of exterior curtain wall systems.
• Learn to read and interpret architectural drawings and structural drawings.
• Assist with coordinating engineering calculations and shop drawings.
• Support project evaluations, material take-offs, and proposal development.
• Gain knowledge of Harmon products, services, operations, and engineering processes.
• Learn and apply CAD tools to support engineering and design activities.
