Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) invites students to join a 12-week summer internship program. You will work on real-world engineering challenges, paired with a mentor, and build your professional network through intern events and cross-functional collaboration.

You'll gain hands-on experience with industry software, develop communication skills, and contribute to projects while ensuring security and data privacy. May/June 2027 start date with August/September 2027 end date. On-site work mode.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Anticipated graduation date December 2027 or later.
• GPA of 2.8 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist on real-world challenges within the utility/energy sector with mentorship.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply knowledge and grow skills.
• Present internship project at the annual Intern Expo.
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools.
• Demonstrate effective and open communication.
• Support protection of data and assets with high standards of conduct.
