Responsibilities

• Collaborate with estimating mentor to understand bidding process.
• Review blueprints and specs to identify scope.
• Perform quantity take-offs using manual calculations and estimating software.
• Research and analyze costs for materials, labor and equipment.
• Assist in preparing bid proposals and supporting documentation.
• Apply mathematical models to improve estimating accuracy.
• Participate in Book Club assignments and LEAN project.
• Attend networking events and professional development activities.
• Mentorship from senior estimators and project managers.
