Qualifications

• Experience reporting for a college newspaper or other news outlet.
• Interested in breaking news, reading financial statements, and rapid learning on a tech sector or company.
• Strong phone reporting skills; training and coaching provided.

Responsibilities

• Generate ideas, develop sources on a beat and write reports for publication.
• Publish articles for the website and email subscribers, including earnings briefs and features.
• Help with proprietary databases of startups, including AI companies.
• Collaborate with experienced reporters and write on a variety of topics.
