Job summary

Ankura’s LTDA team is seeking summer interns to contribute to e-discovery, data processing and forensics projects in Chicago and other major U.S. hubs.

You’ll work on investigations and litigation matters, leveraging Relativity, SQL, and predictive coding tools as part of a fast-paced, collaborative team. The internship focuses on learning, hands-on exposure to technologies, and developing relationships within Ankura’s discovery practice.

Qualifications

• Graduating between December 2027 and June 2028 with a Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Law, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or other analytical area with a solid academic performance.
• Strong interest in using technology to manage data and solve complex data problems.
• Ability to engage in team-oriented projects within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Advanced decision-making, problem-solving, logic-based skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, eagerness for development, and motivation to succeed.
• Ability to manage time and prioritization of tasks.
• Ability to prepare high quality work product.
• Ability to interact confidently with team members.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), quantitative, and organizational Skills.
• Please note that this role requires permanent authorization to work in the U.S. (i.e. U.S. citizen or permanent resident). Internships and full-time University Associate roles are not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship, work visa or any other temporary work authorization (i.e. OPT, CPT).

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply knowledge of technology to design innovative approaches to solve data-related challenges.
• Execute on projects involving the identification, organization, collection, processing, review, and production of electronic data.
• Create summaries, data visualizations, written analyses, and other presentations of work performed.
• Manage time and tasks to meet deadlines for clients who work in time-sensitive industries.
• Generate consistent and thorough documentation to support processes developed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in internal and external meetings.
• Maintain a professional image within the company.
• Travel and / or overtime.
