Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Development Summer Analyst to support the development team through pro forma modeling, market research, and deal execution across the full development lifecycle—from site evaluation to project delivery—while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

The 10-week program offers hands-on experience across Investment, Finance, Marketing, IT, Data, Leasing, Development, and Operations, with mentorship and site visits, ending with a Final Capstone presentation.

Qualifications

• Quantitative background and analytical problem-solving ability.
• Strong, precise written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and deadline management.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Build and update detailed pro forma models to evaluate development opportunities.
• Conduct market research and analyze trends, site feasibility, and competitive dynamics.
• Prepare development memos, financial packages, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Support due diligence including reviewing budgets, schedules, and third-party reports.
• Interface with brokers, consultants, equity partners, and internal development leaders.
• Maintain development pipeline trackers, timelines, and key deliverables.
• Collaborate across teams to support the successful launch of new projects.
