Job summary

Feedinkoo is seeking a Summer Data Scientist Associate to collaborate with the data science team on addressing business challenges through data analysis and machine learning. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in data collection, processing, and developing models that support business decisions.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a PH.D. or a Master's in a related field and has some experience in Python. Proficiency in SQL and a basic understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts are necessary.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in the PH.D. program or a Master's in related analytical discipline.
• Some experience in building end-to-end models in Python (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist in exploring and understanding data.
• Perform ETL processes and feature engineering.
• Write Python code for visualizations and models.
• Collaborate with other data scientists.
• Present results to non-technical stakeholders.
• Understand IT infrastructure for model implementation.

Skills

Proficiency in SQL

Python programming (pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn)

Basic understanding of statistical knowledge

Machine learning algorithms knowledge

Effective communication skills

Ability to learn new skills

Education
