Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a Construction Project Engineer Intern to join our San Diego office for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting project management, estimating, budgeting and on-site coordination on diverse concrete repair projects.

You will develop skills in scheduling, cost control, client relations and safety, while working with a collaborative team in a dynamic open-shop contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or in progress in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills and software literacy.
• A positive outlook and a team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management support on construction projects.
• Assist estimating and budget preparation activities.
• Support job cost tracking and scheduling tasks.
