Job summary

Gardner Builders is seeking a paid Summer 2027 internship in Minneapolis. You will support Project Managers, split time between office and field, and assist with takeoffs, submittals, RFIs, safety audits, and schedule updates.

Ideal candidates are juniors or seniors pursuing a Bachelor's in Construction/Engineering, with strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam. Onsite office work with some field visits offered.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Construction, Civil, Architecture).
• Strong interest in project management and construction processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and assist in day-to-day construction project management.
• Split time between office and field and prepare kickoff materials.
• Participate in proposals, takeoffs, submittals and RFIs.
• Conduct safety and quality audits and document site observations.
• Assist with schedules, punchlists, and project closeout tasks.
