Job summary

C.J. Mahan Construction Company is seeking a motivated Summer 2027 Construction Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience in project management and engineering on our Grove City site.

You will work under senior engineers on real projects, learning how plans translate into on-site actions. The internship offers exposure to planning, scheduling, site inspections for safety and quality, documentation, and collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Familiarity with structural design software is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and apply engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination under supervision.
• Support construction site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Prepare, review, and update project documentation such as blueprints and reports.
• Collaborate with project teams to align materials, resources, and schedules with timelines.
• Assist in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and budget tracking.
• Aid senior engineers in identifying and resolving on-site challenges.
