Job summary

Hilltop Securities Inc. is seeking a qualified student to join our Compliance team as a Summer Internship in Dallas, TX.

The program runs in-person from May 24, 2027 to July 30, 2027, offering hands-on experience across various business lines and exposure to basic compliance functions. Under supervision, interns will assist with research, data analysis and report building, gaining insight into securities compliance and corporate processes.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
• Self-starter who initiates tasks and follows up to completion.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Rising senior studying in a related field.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist and learn compliance functions under supervision.
• Gain insight into securities compliance processes.
• Assist with building essential reports and identify root causes.
• Analyze existing data for accuracy and completeness.
• Document process workflows.
• Support ad hoc requests from c-suite and leadership.
• Provide clerical and administrative support.
• Undertake special projects as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
