NEW Cooperative, based in Fort Dodge, IA, is seeking a summer Communications Intern to support marketing, journalism, and outreach initiatives. You will capture photo/video assets, create graphic content, and help plan social media, newsletters, and company events from our Fort Dodge office.

The role emphasizes learning and development with mentor support, internship onboarding, and opportunities to interact with industry leaders. A strong interest in agriculture and communication is preferred.

Competenze

• Must be a 2nd or 3rd year student pursuing marketing, public relations, agricultural communications, or related fields.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with graphic design and Adobe software helpful but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Interest in agriculture, journalism, event planning and marketing preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and time-management skills.

Mansioni

• Capture photo and video assets for use in company communication initiatives.
• Plan and develop social media posts highlighting company initiatives, events, and news.
• Assist in creating content for NEW Cooperative’s quarterly newsletter.
• Plan summer events including company outings, customer appreciation events, and county fair appearances.
