Job summary

Southern California Edison is offering a 12-week summer internship in civil/structural engineering. You will work on real-world utility challenges, paired with a mentor, and expand your professional network through intern events.

Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, presenting at the Intern Expo, and gaining hands-on experience with relevant software. On-site work with detailed start/end dates in May/June 2027 to August/September 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• GPA of 2.8 or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Come prepared to work on real world challenges within the utility/energy sector.
• Be paired with a mentor and work collaboratively to apply knowledge, grow skills and make an impact.
• Build your professional network through intern events.
• Work with cross functional teams on projects.
• Provide ongoing support to grow personally and professionally.
• Present in the annual Intern Expo to showcase assigned internship project.
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools aligned with your field of study.
