Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking Summer Camp Teachers for the 2026 season at our school in Plainsboro Township, New Jersey. In this role, you will assist the Lead Teacher in nurturing children's independence while providing individual lessons and fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with the development of young children.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer-service orientation.
• Willing to grow and learn.

• Valid CPR certification or willingness to become certified.

We are now hiring for Summer Camp Teachers for the 2026 Summertime at our lovely Guidepost school at Princeton Meadows!

Our summer camps run from June to August. We are hiring for both full‑time and part‑time roles.

Your Role

In this Summer Camp role, you will support our Lead Teacher in guiding children to be more independent and confident in their abilities. This is a great opportunity to start your career in Montessori, and early childhood education more generally, as many of our Assistant Guides ultimately grow to take on Lead Guide roles over time, thanks to our MACTE‑accredited Montessori training program.

• Provide individual and small‑group lessons to support each child’s development
• Form personal connections with each child and cultivate a community of collaboration and respect
