Steve & Kate's Camp in Des Moines, IA is seeking team members for a seasonal camp role this summer. The position offers an hourly wage of $15.50–$18.00, with setup and breakdown weekends, plus an orientation.

Staff will supervise campers, facilitate activities, and maintain safe, engaging spaces. Requirements include being at least 16, 2+ months of camp-age experience, and First Aid & CPR before Day 1.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• At least 2 months experience with camp-age children, preferably 1 year.
• First Aid & CPR certification prior to Day 1.

• Chaperone on off-site Field Trips may be required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities and monitor safety and wellness.
• Create or oversee activity spaces; campers self-select activities.
• Speak with local director to learn specifics about your role.
• Assist in camp set-up and breakdown during move-in and move-out weekends.
• Maintain organized, approachable activity spaces.
• Add daily updates and photos to campers' profiles.
