Job summary

The JCC Association of North America is seeking a Seasonal Camper Care Advocate to support inclusion campers at the Neil Klatskin Summer Camps in Tenafly, New Jersey. This role includes assisting campers aged 3-12 and training staff.

Responsibilities involve planning, supporting, and evaluating camper activities while maintaining communication with parents. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree, camp experience, and current CPR and first aid certifications.

Salary range is $6K-$7K based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience working with children.
• Previous camp experience is required.
• Desire and ability to work with children and adults in a camp setting.
• Ability to supervise staff and campers is essential.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and support to a caseload of inclusion campers.
• Participate in pre-camp planning and training.
• Act as a resource for shadows/campers/staff.
• Monitor the usage of Sensory rooms.
• Communicate with parents and evaluate the season.
