Chelsea Piers Field House Brooklyn is seeking Summer Camp Counselors to join our team. Our Camp Counselors are vital to providing campers with a clean, safe, friendly, and fun environment to ensure a well-rounded sports education and camp experience.

Being a Summer Camp Counselor offers a great way to gain experience at a world-class, growing sports and fitness company. This role emphasizes camper supervision, teamwork, event planning, and maintaining facilities to high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Must be punctual, friendly, motivated, and alert.
• Must be neat and well-groomed.
• Must enjoy working in a team environment.
• Must be able to commit for at least four or eight weeks of work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all camper activities, ensuring the wellbeing of campers throughout the day
• Work with other camp staff to plan and coordinate camp events
• Oversee campers' compliance with rules and prevent accidents
• Maintain cleanliness of camp facility and equipment
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times
• Report all incidents, such as camper illness, accidents, and rule violations to Camp Director
• Memorize all emergency procedures
